This Week at Capitol Post (December 10 – 14)

Who’s Pitching at Startup Standup Monday? | This Week at Capitol Post, Dec 10 – 16th

Greetings! Capitol Post’s 4th Startup Standup is this Mon, Dec 17th at MetroStage. RSVP here

Three reasons why you don’t want to miss Startup Standup.

1. Support local Veteran Entrepreneurs. Companies pitching: SargeFitt (Juan Biddix Jr., Army), Franklin Consulting (Brendan McElroy, Marines), Badges United Foundation (Kim Defiori, Army), (Tim Marcinowski, Navy), Fresh2Go Gourmet (Chris Pryce) PLUS our guest MC, Rod Rodriguez (Clear Commo, Army).

2. Karaoke. Between pitches, some of our favorite local Veteran Service Organizations will give their own pitch and then entertain us with their FAVORITE KARAOKE SONG. Support Team RWB (Dream On, Aerosmith), Serving Together (Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond), and Easter Seals (When a Man Loves a Woman, Michael Bolton). Yes, Michael Bolton.

All-Star Pitch Judges. Herman Bulls (JLL), Michele Kang (Cognosante), Christopher Carlton (Commonwealth of Virginia Entrepreneurship Coordinator), and Nick Bradfield (Bunker Labs) will decide who takes home our $3,500 prize.

Bunker Brews pre-event starts at 5 PM, pitches start promptly at 5:30 PM.
